Last December Sante Levoni, founder of the company and a real expert in processing pork legs, after a lifelong commitment in the fresh and processed pork meat sector, received the title of Chevalier dans l’ordre du Mérite Agricole at Alcar Uno headquarter in Castelnuovo Rangone (MO).
Santino received his medal and the title of Chevalier dans l’ordre du Mérite Agricole from the General Consul Jean-Michel Despax, surrounded by his sons Lorenzo and Luca, his closer collaborators, friends and the French Embassy delegation.
During the conferment speech Jean-Michel Despax went trough the career of the enterpreneur, who was born from factory workers and later succeeded in creating an industrial group now counting 10 plants, both processing and curing pork legs.
During his career Santino Levoni has had the merit of tying a close bond with the agricultural French industry, a lasting and reliable commercial relationship founded on loyalty and earnestness. This is the reason why Santino was given this decoration as a symbol of respect from France to Santino and his group. Among the participants at the ceremony: Carlo Antonini from Agriservice Srl, Gilles Lemaitre, Jean-Claude Commault and Guy Dartois from Cooperl, Davide Levoni, Michel Stoumboff (agricultural worker at French Embassy in Rome), Franco Vaccaro from Agriservice Srl, Jean-Pierre Houssel (Chief Mission Agricole at French Embassy in Milan) and Morena Vandelli.
